HANNAH K

Violin

A native of Hampton, Virginia, Hannah began playing the violin at the age of 4. She grew up playing for weddings and other private events with her family, furthering her desire to perform professionally. From a young age, she was able to gain performance experience by holding leadership positions in youth orchestra, chamber music groups, music festival ensembles and eventually college ensembles.

Her love for teaching private violin lessons began when she taught her first student at the age of 16 and she has continued to teach ever since. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in Violin Performance from George Mason University.

When she isn’t teaching, Hannah enjoys freelancing, spending time with her family, trying a new recipe, and doing yoga. Some personal highlights of Hannah’s musical experiences include performing with her family, receiving a full-ride merit scholarship to attend Interlochen Arts Camp at the age of 12, performing with Dailey and Vincent in their TV special “Dailey and Vincent- Alive! In Concert”, being selected as “Musical Wunderkind” to perform with the Moscow Ballet’s Prima Ballerina, and performing in the National Cathedral.

Hannah is excited for this new and exciting opportunity to join The Music Tree School!
