Private Lessons

Piano
At The Music Tree, we teach all piano lessons on acoustic pianos. Our instructors teach with the student-friendly Faber Piano Adventures series . As students progress, they explore classical, jazz, or popular piano music based on their interests. Piano lessons are suitable for ages 5 and up.

Voice

Voice lessons offer personalized, age-appropriate training for all skill levels, starting at age 7. Instruction includes vocal technique and performance coaching tailored to each student’s goals. Students explore styles such as classical, liturgical, musical theater, pop, and jazz. Vocal lessons are suitable for ages 7 and up.

Fretted String Instruments

At The Music Tree, we offer guitar lessons, bass lesson, banjo lessons, and ukulele lessons, dulcimer lessons, and mandolin lessons. Our instructors specialize in styles like classical, jazz, blues, folk, and rock. Many are active performers, with many having toured nationally. Studios are equipped with amps for electric instruments. Suitable for ages 8 and up (5 and up for ukulele).

Wind instruments

Our skilled wind instructors offer flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, French horn using methods like Essential Elements or Rubank when appropriate. Lessons are available for students ages 8 and up.

​Bowed String Instruments

Our violin, viola, cello, and upright bass instructors teach classical, folk/fiddle, and jazz, and popular styles using methods such as Suzuki and Essential Elements. Lessons are available for students ages 6 and up.
 

Drum Lessons​

Our percussion instructors offer drum lessons with options to specialize in symphonic, folk, Latin, and rock styles. Lessons take place in a fully equipped studio with high-quality electric drum sets. Students must be at least 7 years old and tall enough to sit comfortably at a full-size drum set.
